Four Elms is focused on the crossroads - sadly there are no longer four elms in the village.
On one side are the village petrol station and a picturesque pond with ducks; on another is an antique shop, Treasures. There is also a small village shop.
The Four Elms pub is in a building with medieval origins and serves homemade food.
Opposite the 19th century parish church is the cricket pitch, and the popular church fete takes place in June on the village field.
From Four Elms you can explore Chartwell and Hever Castle. Nearby Broxham Manor is featured in one of the five circular Eden Valley walks, starting from Edenbridge.
The village is on the bus routes to Tunbridge Wells. |
